Why the University of Arkansas?

Located near the heart of Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas’ historic and picturesque campus holds an undergraduate student body of approximately 24,000, hailing from nearly every state in the union and all around the globe. As a Southeastern Conference school with selective admissions, a student-first philosophy, and a history of innovation in interdisciplinary education and scholarship, Arkansas consistently ranks highly among state public universities in the annual U.S. News & World Report survey.

Compared with our competitor institutions, the cost of attending the University is also more than reasonable. A resident undergraduate student can expect to pay approximately $8,112.70 per fifteen-credit semester ($16,225.40/yr) whereas a nonresident can expect to pay approximately $13,553.35 ($27,106.70/yr). And, importantly, entering freshmen and transfer students from Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas are eligible for the “Non-Resident Tuition Award Scholarship.” That scholarship covers the majority of the difference between out-of-state tuition and in-state tuition, and is automatically granted to eligible students.

All interested recruits are encouraged to visit Arkansas, during which the recruit may stay overnight with a Team member and attend a game.  For those hoping for another glance at the University before visiting, watch this video:
