Job: Goalie Coach
Justin Goad
Goalie Coach Justin Goad returns for his third season with the Razorbacks in 2024-25. In his role, Coach Goad will work closely with the goalies from both teams on and off the ice to help them grow and succeed. He relies on a “chaotic approach” when it comes to coaching goaltending, utilizing the concept of continuous action while focusing on the small details. A foundation to his approach is training each goalie specifically to what works best for them to allow their game to develop the way they want.
Coach Goad brings a wealth of coaching and hockey experience to the programs on ice staff. He began his hockey career at the age of 10, playing at all levels of travel, college, and a brief stint in the minor professional ranks. He has been coaching youth, high school, and college hockey for the past twenty years, coaching goalies who have played in the Olympics, NCAA and ACHA, top tier juniors, and professional hockey.
Coach Goad holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics as well as Organization Change Management. He also holds a MBS in Project Management and a Masters in Public Affairs. Outside of the rink, Coach Goad enjoys spending time with his amazing wife Rebecca and his son Logan, who loves soccer.
