Ice Hogs opening week opponent Metropolitan State University of Denver. Metro State Hockey has hired Matt Mason as head coach for the 2014-2015 Season.  Matt served as Assistant Coach on the record setting 2013-2014 season for the Roadrunners under head coach Gabe Gauthier.

The Ice Hogs face a worthy opponent in the Metro State Roadrunners. This club plays a very competitive schedule with D1 & 2 teams.
They are used to winning, play solid defense and have some very skilled players. The Hogs will have to come out fast and hard against this club.
