Jordan DeSkeere transfers to Arkansas

The Razorback Hockey team is pleased to announce that D-Jordan DeSkeere has committed to Arkansas. DeSkeere, a 5’9” 168lbs. right-shot defenseman, joins the Razorbacks after spending his freshman year playing for Dallas Baptist University.

DeSkeere, originally from McKinney, TX, joins the Razorbacks after posting 10 assists in 26 games during his freshman year at DBU. Prior to his one year with DBU, DeSkeere played for the McKinney Ice Hockey Club Varsity team and recorded 1 goal and 6 assists in a 16-game senior season.

DeSkeere plans to major in marketing at the U of A. DeSkeere attributes the friendships and memories that he takes from every season to developing his love of hockey. Regarding his commitment to the University of Arkansas, DeSkeere said, “I chose the university because it’s close to home and has a great hockey program.” When asked about the opportunity to play against his former team in the season-opening weekend on September 6, DeSkeere said, “I want to play in that game more than anything right now, representing the better school and better club.”

The University of Arkansas Men’s Hockey team plays in the Southeastern Collegiate Hockey Conference. The 2019-20 season will be the team’s thirteenth season as a member of the ACHA competing in Division III. The team’s schedule can be found here.
