Coach Sullivan joins the Arkansas Razorbacks staff for 2026-27, bringing with him more than 15 years of coaching experience and a playing career that includes AAA youth hockey, NCAA Division III, and professional hockey.
Originally from Canada, Sullivan grew up playing AAA hockey before moving to the US in high school. He played travel hockey with the NJ Colonials and high school hockey at Roxbury High School before continuing his career at the University of Scranton. As an NCAA Division III player, Sullivan served as captain for three of his four years and finished his career as the program’s all-time leading scorer.
During college, Sullivan also worked at Florida Panthers hockey camps during the summers. Following graduation, he earned an opportunity to try out with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. He continues to play men’s league hockey and remains passionate about the game.
Sullivan has always has always enjoyed giving back to the game coached with his dad when he was in HS and has been coaching youth hockey for the past 15 years. Sullivan spent the last four seasons as the Varsity Head Coach of the NWA Ice Hogs. In 2025-26, he led the Ice Hogs to a 23-0-1 record, the program’s first MAHSHL championship in 10 years, and three wins at High School Nationals before losing in the quarterfinals.
Outside of hockey, Sullivan enjoys spending time with his family and being on the lake.
